Disability NDIS

Support for everyday life

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

NDIS stands for the National Disability Insurance Scheme which was rolled out across Australia in 2013. The scheme aims to assist people with disabilities to access support they need in their everyday life, to participate in the community to pursue their goals and enjoy life.

The NDIS program is designed to provide support that over time would improve someone’s independence and their skills. NDIS can provide people with disabilities with important connections or information to services in their community such as doctors, existing support groups, schools, sports clubs, libraries and much more.

The main focus of NDIS is to provide people with disabilities with individual packages of support funded by all Australians. Key outcomes for the NDIS clients, are increased independence in community and society and greater participation in education and employment.

We will assist you with building the skills needed to understand, use and implement your NDIS Plan.

We provide:
Level 2 – Support Coordination; Level 3 – Specialist Support Coordination.

We provide a comprehensive approach to help young people and their families learn how to manage the various life transitions that occur between the ages of 15-25 years, including the transition to post-school and from children to adult services.

We work collaboratively with participants with psychosocial disability, their families, carers and other services to design, plan and implement a recovery plan.

We will assist participants with the coordination of NDIS and other supports to help them take more control of their lives.
